What happens on the day You’ll arrive at London Victoria and, depending on your destination, you will either board a coach or the British Pullman for the first leg of your journey. If your outbound journey is on board the British Pullman, you will be shown to your reserved seat in one of eleven carriages, each an original masterpiece from the 1920s or 30s with their own name and unique personality. Here you will be treated to a Champagne arrival followed by a three course lunch with wine. When you reach your destination you will be transferred to the stately home or castle and you will then be given plenty of time to view the building or grounds at your leisure. After your visit, you will be taken back to London Victoria. If your second leg is on board the train you will enjoy a Champagne welcome and a three course dinner with wine during your journey back to London. Need to know Minimum age 18. Fitness - Participants should be in good general health as there is some walking involved. If you have any disability or illness that may prevent you from taking part in this experience you must discuss this with the booking clerk before finalising your booking. Disabled access – No wheelchairs are able to go on board. Smart day wear is appropriate, including a jacket and tie for men. You are kindly asked not to wear jeans or trainers. Note - When returning by train you may be slightly delayed as the train also carries Orient Express passengers from the continent, so please bear this in mind when making plans for the evening.
